The front is ok, but it is connected to the saddle (it is a saddle shoulder design). In order to widen the back, I need to widen the saddle shoulder section. And in order to do widen the saddle shoulder I am going to have to rip out the front and the back. The idea of starting over, again, makes me want to bang my head against the wall.
The good news? I finished this lovely pair of socks knit with locally handdyed yarn. I had a lot of fun creating the stitch pattern. And I knit them for someone else, which makes me feel virtuous.
